Reviewer verdict

Across 15 YouTube reviews, the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra earns an Index score of 3.6/5, ranking #89 among Smartphones. Reviewers most often praise its software, battery life, camera, while the most common criticisms concern camera, design and build.

Reviewers praise the Zenfone 11 Ultra most for its clean, near-stock Zen UI software and useful added features, a consensus across many reviews (41 mentions). Battery life and charging are repeatedly highlighted as standout strengths, with the large 5,500 mAh cell and fast wired/wireless charging delivering multi-day use in numerous tests (39 mentions). The camera system, especially improved stabilization and capable telephoto shots, and a solid overall design and build with premium materials and IP68 rating are also frequently noted (38 and 35 mentions respectively). Reviewers additionally commend the bright, high-refresh LTPO AMOLED display and flagship-grade performance from the Snapdragon platform (31 and 25 mentions).

Critics most often point to the camera system's shortcomings despite some improvements, noting limited selfie/video capabilities, inconsistent image quality, and lens mismatch or noise in many conditions (54 mentions). The phone's larger size and slippery glass design, plus a prominent camera bump and awkward ergonomics for one-handed use, are common physical complaints (32 mentions). Reviewers also criticize Asus's limited software update policy and the heavy emphasis on AI features that some find undercooked or unnecessary (21 mentions). A number of reviewers mention value-related concerns such as higher launch pricing and lack of a charger in the box, which temper the device's overall appeal (12 mentions).
