Comfort and Fit

Reviewer verdict

Across 34 YouTube reviews, the SoundPEATS TrueAir2 earns an Index score of 3.8/5, ranking #58 among True Wireless Earbuds. Reviewers most often praise its sound quality, design and style, connectivity and stability, while the most common criticisms concern comfort and fit, battery life.

The SoundPEATS TrueAir2 offers exceptional value, providing impressive audio performance that punches well above its price point. Powered by a Qualcomm chip with aptX support and large 14.2mm drivers, they deliver a balanced sound with clear vocals and surprisingly strong bass for their open-ear design. Users praise the lightweight, comfortable fit and the sleek, highly pocketable USB-C charging case. Key features include reliable Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, comprehensive and responsive touch controls for volume and media, and remarkably clear call quality thanks to a dual-microphone setup with cVc noise reduction. With a solid battery life of around 5 hours per charge and 25 hours total with the case, they are a well-rounded and feature-rich option for budget-conscious buyers.

The most significant drawback is the one-size-fits-all, AirPods-style design. Lacking silicone tips, the earbuds can feel loose and insecure for many users, making them prone to falling out during activity. This open fit also provides almost no passive noise isolation, allowing ambient sounds to easily intrude and diminish the audio quality, particularly outdoors. Several reviewers also noted the cheap, lightweight plastic build of both the earbuds and the case, which feels flimsy. Other missing features include wireless charging, auto-pause sensors, and a multi-level battery indicator for the charging case.
