Connectivity and Stability

Reviewer verdict

Across 15 YouTube reviews, the JBL Tour Pro 2 earns an Index score of 4.1/5, ranking #24 among True Wireless Earbuds. Reviewers most often praise its controls and features, sound quality, noise cancellation, while the most common criticisms concern other, controls and features.

The Tour Pro 2 earn consistent praise for their smart charging case with a 1.45-inch touchscreen that reviewers frequently call a standout, practical feature—many note it brings most app controls (EQ, ANC, notifications, find-my-buds, timers, flashlight, spatial modes) directly to the case without needing a phone (mentioned in the Controls and Features cluster across most reviews). Sound quality and personalization are another common positive: reviewers often highlight clear mids and highs, punchy bass, JBL-tuned dynamic drivers, and Personify/Personify 2.0 EQ tools and presets that let users tailor the sound. Reviewers also regularly compliment strong ANC and transparency modes, long battery life with multiple recharges from the case and fast charging, stable Bluetooth multi-point connectivity, and a comfortable secure fit. These themes recur across the set of reviews and represent the most frequently cited strengths in the sample data.

Criticisms center on the smart case trade-offs and some feature limitations: multiple reviewers call the case bulky and finicky to carry, and several point out the touchscreen and widgets are constrained (limited wallpaper options, fiddly controls, missing track/volume/ANC combinations, and some functions still require the phone app). A number of reviewers find the sound not universally flawless for audiophiles—comments mention less treble edge, some muddiness, and that it won’t satisfy the pickiest listeners. Noise cancelling and transparency, while generally praised, are also flagged by several reviewers as not quite matching the very best competitors and can feel inconsistent or stuffy at times. Other recurring negatives include limited codec support and some app-dependent features or occasional connectivity hiccups.
