Reviewer verdict

Across 17 YouTube reviews, the Samsung The Premiere LSP9T earns an Index score of 4.3/5, ranking #22 among Projectors. Reviewers most often praise its features, image quality, value for money, while the most common criticisms concern features, image quality.

The Samsung The Premiere LSP9T is widely praised for its cutting-edge triple-laser UHD projection and smart-TV features, with reviewers across 17 videos repeatedly highlighting its bright, vibrant 4K-capable images and extensive Tizen-based app support (mentioned in many of the pros). Reviewers consistently applaud its ultra-short throw design and ease of placement, large-screen capability up to 130 inches, strong built-in 4.2/40W audio, and advanced picture modes including UHD Filmmaker Mode and HDR10+ dynamic tone mapping. Many reviewers also note excellent color reproduction, superior contrast and shadow detail for a UST projector, long-life laser light source, and simple, TV-like setup and menu that make it feel more like a smart TV replacement. These strengths appear across the majority of extracted pros, reflecting broad agreement on image quality, features, and usability.

Criticisms focus on limits for hardcore gamers and some image and setup caveats that appeared repeatedly: reviewers mention relatively high input lag and lack of 4K/120Hz or HDMI 2.1, making it unsuitable for competitive FPS gaming, and a 60Hz-centric design that can introduce judder or require interpolation for certain film sources. Multiple reviewers warn that optimal image quality depends on using a proper UST screen and careful calibration (out-of-the-box modes can be oversaturated or tinted), and some note laser speckle, slight chromatic aberration, and black levels that are good but not reference-grade. Other recurring negatives include a high premium price, occasional smart OS sluggishness or app-specific audio e-ARC quirks, and practical installation constraints (height/placement, no zoom) that can complicate setup.
