Reviewer verdict

Across 23 YouTube reviews, the ASUS ROG Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova earns an Index score of 3.6/5, ranking #42 among Gaming Headsets. Reviewers most often praise its connectivity, sound quality, features, while the most common criticisms concern features, design/aesthetics.

The ROG Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova are widely praised for their strong and versatile connectivity and battery performance, with many reviewers (71 mentions) highlighting reliable Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz SpeedNova dongle, low latency for gaming, multipoint/device switching and fast charging that extends listening time. Reviewers also frequently note very good overall sound quality (46 mentions), including clear imaging, strong bass and detailed audio with support for high-resolution playback and Dirac optimization. Built-in features such as touch controls, wireless charging, wear detection and a gaming mode are commonly appreciated (33 mentions), and the earbuds receive positive comments for comfortable fit, compact design and attractive RGB styling (combined mentions across comfort, design and build). Across the 23 reviews, connectivity/battery and sound are the most consistently praised aspects, followed by feature-rich software and ergonomic design details mentioned by multiple reviewers.

Criticisms are concentrated on the control, fit and some real-world sound and software issues: many reviewers report frustrating touch controls and limited or unintuitive customization (25 mentions under features), occasional fit/comfort problems for some users (12 mentions), and an out-of-the-box sound signature that some find too bass-heavy or boomy without EQ/Dirac enabled (24 mentions). There are also common complaints about practical design choices—notably a bulky or awkward charging case with no place to store the dongle and non-customizable RGB (24 mentions)—and several reviewers point to connectivity and battery inconsistencies in certain scenarios, codec/latency limitations over Bluetooth, and mixed microphone/ANC performance (combined mentions across connectivity and mic). Overall, while many core capabilities are strong, reviewers repeatedly note usability, fit, and tuning issues that reduce the product’s appeal for some use cases.
