Reviewer verdict

Across 28 YouTube reviews, the Asus ROG Azoth Extreme earns an Index score of 3.9/5, ranking #38 among Gaming Keyboards. Reviewers most often praise its features, build quality, key switches, while the most common criticisms concern features, value.

The ROG Azoth Extreme is widely praised for its extensive feature set and customization options, with reviewers (86 mentions) highlighting the new full-color touchscreen OLED, three-way control knob, tri-mode wireless (Bluetooth/2.4 GHz/USB-C), hot-swappability, and the flip switch that changes typing feel. Many reviewers (62 mentions) also applaud the premium build quality — heavy, all‑metal appearance, carbon fiber plate, multiple internal dampening layers and a solid, tank‑like chassis — and say the board feels very high-end. The stock key switches and acoustics (25 mentions) earn consistent compliments for factory lubing, quiet, satisfying sound and a pleasant typing experience, and smaller themes like keycap quality, ergonomics and strong gaming performance are positively noted across multiple reviews. Overall consensus frames the Azoth Extreme as a feature-packed, well-built enthusiast keyboard with broad appeal among reviewers.

Criticisms cluster around value and feature utility, with many reviewers (35 mentions) calling the price steep or overpriced for what they get and questioning whether some premium additions justify the cost. Reviewers also flagged issues with certain features (39 mentions), notably mixed feelings about the OLED touchscreen and physical controls (sensitivity, accidental presses, limited practical use), limited macro/customization depth, and lack of Hall effect/rapid‑trigger switches. A smaller but recurring set of complaints target build and compatibility details (17 mentions) such as proprietary stabilizers, north‑facing switch limitations, occasional durability/finish problems, and weight, while some users report switch reliability or double‑stroke issues (16 mentions).
