Connectivity and Stability

Reviewer verdict

Across 20 YouTube reviews, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds earns an Index score of 3.6/5, ranking #66 among True Wireless Earbuds. Reviewers most often praise its sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort and fit, while the most common criticisms concern controls and features, connectivity and stability.

The QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds earn widespread praise across the 20 reviews, with noise cancellation cited most frequently (50 mentions) as class-leading and natural-sounding in both Quiet and Aware/Transparency modes. Reviewers also commonly praise sound quality (48 mentions), describing balanced, immersive spatial audio with strong mids and satisfying bass for many genres. Comfort and fit is another consistent highlight (45 mentions), with numerous reviewers calling the buds extremely comfortable, secure for workouts, and customizable with multiple ear tip/wing options. Reviewers additionally note reliable touch controls and features, solid connectivity options (including modern codecs and Bluetooth 5.3), and generally acceptable battery life and call performance in multiple reports.

Criticisms cluster around connectivity and multipoint reliability (26 mentions), with many reviewers reporting poor or missing multipoint behavior and occasional dropouts. Several reviewers find the app, controls and customization limited (22 mentions), calling the EQ too basic and the app glitchy or feature-light for a flagship price. Sound and ANC criticisms appear as well (21 and 16 mentions respectively), with some noting tunings that can be bassy or occasionally harsh/metallic in treble, and sporadic hiss, white-noise or wind-related ANC issues. Other repeated negatives include battery/charging limitations (19 mentions) — notably reduced runtime in immersive mode and complaints about lack of wireless charging — plus concerns about large case size and some build/finish durability issues.
