Reviewer verdict

Across 23 YouTube reviews, the HP Omen 45L earns an Index score of 4/5, ranking #13 among Gaming PCs & Laptops. Reviewers most often praise its build quality, performance, cooling, while the most common criticisms concern build quality, performance.

The HP Omen 45L consistently earns praise for its exceptional performance, effortlessly handling demanding AAA games, content creation, and streaming with top-tier CPUs and GPUs. Its standout feature is the innovative Cryo Chamber, a unique cooling solution that effectively isolates the CPU liquid cooler, ensuring stable temperatures and quiet operation even under heavy, sustained loads. Reviewers also laud its striking, modern design featuring a tempered glass side panel that showcases the clean interior. The spacious, tool-less chassis and use of standard ATX components are frequently highlighted, making maintenance and future upgrades incredibly straightforward and solidifying its reputation as a powerful, future-proof desktop for serious enthusiasts.

The most common criticism of the HP Omen 45L is its sheer physical presence; it is a very large, bulky, and heavy machine that demands significant desk or floor space and is difficult to move. This is accompanied by a premium price tag that, while often justified by the high-end components, places it in an expensive category. Several reviewers also point out the limited rear I/O on the motherboard, which offers fewer USB ports than many custom builds and may necessitate a separate hub. Other minor issues include noticeable fan noise under heavy load and a locked-down BIOS that limits tuning options for enthusiasts.
