Reviewer verdict

Across 13 YouTube reviews, the Infinix Note 40 Pro earns an Index score of 4.2/5, ranking #16 among Smartphones. Reviewers most often praise its battery life, design and build, display, while the most common criticisms concern camera, design and build.

The Note 40 Pro is widely praised for its strong battery and charging features, with reviewers frequently mentioning the 5,000 mAh cell, fast wired charging (multiple mentions of 45 W and up to 100 W in some notes), wireless and reverse wireless charging, and bypass/AI smart charging (52 mentions). Reviewers also consistently compliment the design and build (41 mentions), calling out the in-display fingerprint scanner, Halo lighting, vegan leather option, Gorilla Glass protection and slim, grippy feel. The large, bright 6.78" AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and high peak brightness (~1,300 nits) is another common highlight (34 mentions) for its vibrancy and outdoor readability. Software polish, added AI features and promised OS updates are noted positively (27 mentions), and several reviewers praise camera, performance, audio, and value-for-money aspects as solid for the price across multiple reviews.

Criticisms center on the camera setup (15 mentions), with reviewers pointing to the presence of low-value secondary sensors (2 MP depth/macro), lack of an ultra-wide lens, video limited to 2K/30fps with uneven stabilization and over-processed or overly saturated shots. Design and build complaints (14 mentions) focus on limited water resistance (IP53/IP54), vegan leather scratching, weak magnets for the MagPad/case, and some fingerprint sensor placement/speed issues. Performance and software concerns appear as well (9 and 8 mentions respectively), including mixed impressions of chipset performance across workloads and worries about update support and preinstalled bloat. A handful of reviewers also note missing features like microSD expansion and a headphone jack, and some regional price/value concerns were raised.
