Across 33 YouTube reviews, the Xtrfy MZ1 Wireless earns an Index score of 3.6/5, ranking #53 among Gaming Mice. Reviewers most often praise its button customization & functionality, comfort & ergonomics, build quality & durability, while the most common criticisms concern comfort & ergonomics, button customization & functionality.

The MZ1 Wireless earns consistent praise for its button implementation and customization, with many reviewers (57 mentions) highlighting the Kailh GM 8.0 primary switches, very tactile/crispy clicks, a strong scroll wheel, and extensive on-mouse customization without software. Reviewers (55 mentions) also frequently commend the comfort and ergonomics — especially the fingertip-focused shape, deep finger grooves, and interchangeable back shells that support fingertip and claw grips. Build quality and durability are regularly noted (44 mentions) with positive comments about solid construction, good PTFE skates, a flexible cable, and included spare feet. Performance and connectivity receive favorable mentions (37 and 17 mentions respectively), with reviewers reporting reliable PixArt sensors, responsive tracking, and wireless operation with long battery life in typical use.

Criticisms focus heavily on the shape, coating, and ergonomics (55 mentions), where reviewers find the profile polarizing, occasionally slippery, awkward for palm or some claw grips, and sensitive to hand size or the included hump options. Build quality concerns appear (18 mentions) including creaking, small or pad-sensitive skates, a questionable cable on some units, and a relatively short warranty. Size, weight, and balance are repeatedly mentioned (16 mentions) as problematic for some users due to narrow width, a dense feeling despite light weight, and front-heavy or gimmicky weight distribution. Other recurring negatives include small or stiff side buttons and scroll-wheel quirks (15 mentions), and complaints about price/value relative to expectations (10 mentions).

Size & Weight (29)

first off was the white now the mouse was initially 62-ish grams which doesn't sound like a lot but the issue with the weight was how dense the mouse felt because of it it's a very narrow flat and small Mouse so compacting all that it has to offer did leave me feeling a bit fatigued a fair bit especially as I do play higher sense and for 90 of the time I use my wrists solely on games ▶ The MZ1 Wireless - But Better @ 0:31
going to be kind of just a two-parter as the things I technically couldn't physically change anything to to accommodate to my liking one is going to be the width as I mentioned earlier the mouse is very narrow when I first got it I struggled to adapt my bigger hand size comfortably to it ▶ The MZ1 Wireless - But Better @ 1:54

third was the adjustable sensor cage which also acted as a weight shift for the battery I personally felt it was a bit gimmicky and just very unnecessary shifting into whichever position left the mouse feeling very off balance mainly being front heavy and even if you have the cage shifted all the way to the back it would still have the feeling of more weight to the front ▶ The MZ1 Wireless - But Better @ 1:14
