Reviewer verdict

Across 24 YouTube reviews, the XGIMI MoGo Pro 2 earns an Index score of 4.5/5, ranking #7 among Projectors. Reviewers most often praise its features, image quality, portability, while the most common criticisms concern features, brightness.

The MoGo Pro 2 is widely praised for its smart Android TV 11 platform and built-in streaming features, with many reviewers (82 mentions) highlighting smooth app performance, quick menus, Chromecast and Google Assistant integration, and effective workarounds to get most services running. Reviewers consistently applaud the image quality (32 mentions) — Full HD 1080p via XPR, sharp focus, good colors and HDR10 support — especially in dark or controlled lighting. Portability and practical design earn frequent compliments (30 mentions), noting its very compact size, USB‑C power support for high‑wattage power banks, and easy setup with reliable autofocus and ISA 2.0 auto keystone/object avoidance (19 mentions). The onboard sound and build quality are also commonly cited as strengths (24 and 16 mentions respectively), with two 8W Dolby‑tuned speakers, quiet fans, and a solid metal chassis praised across reviews.

Criticisms concentrate on streaming limitations (41 mentions), especially Netflix not being preinstalled or officially supported and requiring sideloading or workarounds that can limit playback quality, plus occasional sluggishness in some Netflix menus. Brightness and daytime usability are frequent complaints (21 mentions), with reviewers saying the 400 ISO/ANSI‑class output is best for dark rooms and can look washed out or dim in ambient light or daylight. Portability caveats recur (13 mentions): despite USB‑C power, many note there is no reliable built‑in battery or that usable battery runtime/eco modes reduce brightness, and a 65W+ power bank is required for mobile use. A smaller set of reviewers also point to limited connectivity (one HDMI port, slower USB playback), limited picture customization, and modest processing/RAM for heavier HDR/gaming tasks.
