Reviewer verdict

Across 17 YouTube reviews, the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G earns an Index score of 3.4/5, ranking #104 among Smartphones. Reviewers most often praise its display, software, battery life, while the most common criticisms concern camera, design and build.

The Galaxy A15 5G is widely praised for its display, with reviewers (55 mentions) highlighting the 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel, 90 Hz refresh rate and high peak brightness that deliver sharp, vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. Reviewers (44 mentions) also frequently commend Samsung’s software support and experience, noting Android 14/One UI, multi-year update promises and useful One UI features. Battery life and charging receive positive notes (29 mentions) for the large 5,000 mAh battery and improved 25 W wired charging that produce long runtimes. Cameras, design/build, performance and storage are also commonly mentioned as strengths in multiple reviews, with the main 50 MP sensor and base 128 GB storage cited among positives.

Criticisms concentrate on the cameras (34 mentions), especially poor low-light performance, limited video capability (1080p/30fps, no 4K or OIS) and weak ultrawide/macro results. Design and build complaints are frequent (33 mentions), with many reviewers pointing out plastic construction, thick bezels, a dated teardrop notch and lack of an IP rating. Performance and memory are recurring issues (24 mentions), where reviewers report occasional lag, a lower-end chipset and the base 4 GB RAM causing app reloads and slowdowns. Other common downsides include a mono speaker and basic display tradeoffs (glare, no HDR), limited included accessories and no wireless charging.
