The G7 MF (2024) is consistently praised for strong real-world performance, with reviewers frequently noting the Intel Core i5 12500H (mentioned across multiple comments) paired with RTX-series GPUs delivers smooth high-setting 1080p gaming and solid multitasking (around 20 pro mentions). Connectivity and port selection are highlighted as another clear strength, with many reviewers appreciating the variety of USB ports, full-size HDMI, USB‑C, Ethernet, Micro SD slot, webcam and dual M.2 slots (about 15 mentions). Reviewers also like the capable graphics features (DLSS, ray tracing, RTX options) and generally good cooling and battery behavior for the price, plus upgradability and a reasonably pleasant 15.6-inch 144Hz display and keyboard for a gaming laptop. Across the five reviews these positives were repeatedly noted, making performance and connectivity the most widely agreed strengths.

Criticisms center largely on thermal and acoustic issues: multiple reviewers reported CPU thermal throttling, very high CPU temperatures and loud fans under load (9 con mentions). Connectivity criticisms also recur, mostly about slower/limited ports (USB2.0, Type‑C lacking Thunderbolt/charging/monitor support), a low-quality 720p webcam and odd HDMI behavior (7 con mentions). Reviewers additionally flagged limited baseline memory/storage configurations and middling display and input quality (trackpad/keyboard feel), with build quality described as plasticky in some notes, so upgrade needs and some quality compromises were common complaints across the reviews.
