Reviewer verdict
Across 17 YouTube reviews, the Roidmi Eve Plus earns an Index score of 4.3/5, ranking #17 among Robot Vacuums. Reviewers most often praise its maintenance, navigation, ease of use, while the most common criticisms concern hard floor cleaning, maintenance.
The Eve Plus is widely praised for its low-maintenance, hands-off design, with reviewers repeatedly applauding the self-emptying base, long 60-day dirt storage and easy-to-remove, washable parts (mentioned across many reviews). Its navigation and mapping are another strong theme, with numerous reviewers noting reliable LIDAR-based room mapping, obstacle/edge detection and systematic cleaning coverage. Reviewers also highlight ease of use and a feature-rich app for customization, plus strong hard-floor mopping performance and effective vacuuming power noted by multiple reviewers. Across the 17 reviews, these maintenance, navigation, usability, mopping and cleaning strengths are the most consistently mentioned positives.
Criticisms are concentrated on the mopping implementation and related limitations, with many reviewers saying the mop doesn’t fully replace manual mopping, can leave moisture or debris, and lacks an automatic pad lift for carpets. Maintenance complaints included brush hair wrapping, occasional clogging during dust collection, and reminders to replace brushes or filters periodically. A smaller number of reviewers reported navigation/map glitches or items getting stuck in brushes, plus some usability annoyances like app/wifi quirks and non-English user guide content. These negatives are less numerous than the positives but recur across several reviews.
