Reviewer verdict
Across 10 YouTube reviews, the BlackVue DR750X-2CH earns an Index score of 3.8/5, ranking #43 among Dash Cams. Reviewers most often praise its features, other, app & software, while the most common criticisms concern value for money, video quality.
The BlackVue DR750X-2CH's most significant advantage is its built-in 4G LTE connectivity, which provides seamless access to a robust suite of cloud features. This enables real-time live viewing, remote access to footage, automatic event uploads, and instant push notifications for impacts directly to your phone. Reviewers consistently praise its dual-channel 1080p recording, with the front camera's 60 fps frame rate and Sony STARVIS sensors delivering clear daytime and capable nighttime video. The system is also lauded for its user-friendly mobile app, straightforward setup, and relatively simple installation. This combination of advanced remote monitoring and solid core dash cam functionality makes it a premium, highly-connected choice for driver peace of mind.
The most significant drawback is the dash cam's premium price, which many reviewers feel is not justified by its 1080p video resolution. In a market with 4K alternatives, the video quality was sometimes found insufficient for capturing fine details like license plates. Leveraging the standout LTE feature requires purchasing a separate SIM card and paying for a monthly data plan, adding an ongoing cost to the initial investment. Other criticisms include the low resolution of footage uploaded to the cloud and a firmware bug that can trigger a barrage of false-positive event notifications.
