Reviewer verdict

Across 33 YouTube reviews, the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni earns an Index score of 4.2/5, ranking #32 among Robot Vacuums. Reviewers most often praise its hard floor cleaning, navigation, maintenance, while the most common criticisms concern other, maintenance.

The Deebot T20 Omni is widely praised for its advanced hot-water self-washing mopping system and strong hard-floor cleaning, a theme mentioned across many reviews (43 mentions) noting heated pad washing, dual spinning scrubbers and auto refill/empty features. Reviewers also consistently applaud its navigation and obstacle avoidance (40 mentions) for fast, accurate 3D mapping and reliable pathing, and highlight smart features and app voice control (25 mentions) that enable flexible cleaning modes and home integration. Many reviewers reported good suction and debris removal (23 mentions) and convenient maintenance via the Omni station that auto-empties, washes and dries pads (21 mentions), contributing to an overall impression of a flagship, versatile robot vacuum (21 mentions).

Criticisms cluster around practical trade-offs and polish: several reviewers noted the T20’s bulky dock and overall large footprint, app glitches and a learning curve for mapping and settings, plus navigation inconsistencies such as occasional getting stuck or inconsistent pad lifting (numerous mentions across Navigation, Ease of Use and Other). The mopping design’s lack of an onboard water tank and smaller internal dust bin drew repeated complaints (Other and Maintenance), causing more frequent refills, shorter continuous mopping runs and faster filling of the bin. A minority of reviewers also flagged inconsistent cleaning on some surfaces, hair tangles and that the premium price and size may not suit all buyers (Value for Money, Cleaning Performance, Pet Hair Removal).
