Reviewer verdict

Across 18 YouTube reviews, the ProForm City L6 earns an Index score of 4.1/5, ranking #55 among Treadmills. Reviewers most often praise its footprint, tech integration, features, while the most common criticisms concern features, performance.

The City L6 earns consistent praise for its folding, space-saving footprint, with reviewers repeatedly noting its compact, easily storable design and transport wheels (mentioned in roughly a quarter of pros). Reviewers also frequently highlight the treadmill’s tech integration—Bluetooth and iFit connectivity for streaming workouts to a tablet or phone—cited across many reviews. Multiple reviewers appreciate the included basic features and user-friendly console (display, quick-touch speed buttons, device shelf) and the cushioning/comfort of the deck, which was commonly mentioned as reducing joint impact. A smaller set of reviewers pointed out acceptable walking/jogging performance, a quiet motor, and a solid warranty and value proposition tied to the included iFit membership offers.

Criticisms center on the City L6’s limited performance and features: many reviewers noted the small 1.6 HP motor, 8 mph top speed, and short belt that make it best suited for walking or light jogging rather than serious running. Several reviewers called out the absence of an integrated screen, incline function, fan, and other amenities, and emphasized reliance on a personal tablet to use iFit. Reviewers also raised concerns about limited capacity for larger users, modest storage/stability details, and that the one-year parts/labor warranty may feel limited to some buyers.
