Buds Pro 2

Reviewer verdict

Across 27 YouTube reviews, the CMF Buds Pro 2 earns an Index score of 3.9/5, ranking #40 among True Wireless Earbuds. Reviewers most often praise its controls and features, sound quality, noise cancellation, while the most common criticisms concern controls and features, sound quality.

The CMF Buds Pro 2 deliver outstanding value, highlighted by an innovative and tactile smart dial on the charging case for convenient remote control. They produce a powerful, bass-forward sound signature that will please bass lovers, further enhanced by dual drivers, LDAC high-resolution audio support, and extensive customization via the feature-rich Nothing X app. The active noise cancellation is surprisingly effective, particularly against low-frequency hums, and is complemented by a lightweight, comfortable design and strong battery life with fast charging. This combination of a unique user interface, potent audio, and a robust feature set makes them a highly competitive option in the budget-friendly market.

The most common critique is the very bass-heavy default sound signature, which can overwhelm the mids and highs, often requiring equalization through the app for a more balanced profile. While the active noise cancellation is effective for the price, it struggles with sudden loud noises and higher-frequency sounds like voices, falling short of premium competitors. Other drawbacks include the lack of wireless charging, an all-plastic build that can feel less premium, and occasional software inconsistencies with features like in-ear detection. Microphone performance is also merely adequate, suffering in very windy or noisy environments.
