Air75 HE

Reviewer verdict

Across 14 YouTube reviews, the NuPhy Air75 HE earns an Index score of 4.1/5, ranking #14 among Gaming Keyboards. Reviewers most often praise its performance, build quality, features, while the most common criticisms concern aesthetics/design, layout and size.

The Air75 HE is widely praised for its top-tier gaming performance, with many reviewers (around two dozen) highlighting its true 8,000 Hz polling/scan rate, ultra-low latency and features like Rapid Trigger, SOCD and adjustable actuation that make it feel extremely responsive in-game. Reviewers also commonly commend the build quality and sound (about 25 mentions), noting an aluminum top case, solid plate mounting, generous internal dampening and well-lubed stabilizers that produce a creamy, low-profile “thock.” Its feature set and customization are frequently mentioned (around two dozen), including convenient extras like a physical profile switch, extra PBT keycaps, and a well-regarded web-based software that allows very granular actuation and feature tuning. The low-profile magnetic switches, hot-swap support and high-quality PBT keycaps are also recurrent positives (roughly 15–20 mentions), contributing to a comfortable, premium-feeling 75% layout experience valued by many reviewers.

Criticisms are much less frequent but consistent: several reviewers (single-digit mentions across categories) point to design and lighting issues such as south-facing LEDs, limited color/space options and translucency choices they find unattractive or dim. The Air75 HE is wired-only, which a number of reviewers note as a downside, and the 75% low-profile layout limits aftermarket keycap choices and non-US layouts for some users. A few users reported minor quality and ergonomics annoyances such as slightly wobbly keys or flip-out feet that don’t lock well, and some software or firmware rough edges (e.g., hidden advanced settings, an early BIOS plug/unplug issue) were mentioned but appear fixable.
