Reviewer verdict

Across 11 YouTube reviews, the Viofo A329T earns an Index score of 4/5, ranking #33 among Dash Cams. Reviewers most often praise its features, video quality, ease of use, while the most common criticisms concern video quality, features.

The A329T is widely praised for its rich feature set and storage flexibility, with reviewers repeatedly noting front 4K60 and rear 2K recording, support for external SSDs up to multiple terabytes, Wi‑Fi 6/USB 3.0 transfers, CPL front filter and a handy remote for protected recordings. Across 11 reviews many highlighted excellent video quality and clarity—especially 4K60 footage, Sony STARVIS sensors and strong license‑plate readability both day and night. Users also appreciated practical usability touches (extensive configuration, thin routing cables, audible notifications) and multiple parking modes and voice controls, which were mentioned frequently. Build and mounting are generally seen as compact and tidy, with a small number of reviewers calling out solid construction and flexible camera placement.

Criticisms concentrate on image processing and workflow tradeoffs: several reviewers noted aggressive denoising, occasional overexposure, oversharpening at 60fps and some noise/grain in low light or dusk clips. Feature complaints included large 4K60 file sizes and lack of H.265 encoding, omission of SD/SD card or hardwiring kit in the box and limited CPL coverage (front only); a few reviewers also reported SSD compatibility and micro‑SD slot ejection frustrations. Some found the app/firmware approach clunky (per‑channel firmware, hotspot Wi‑Fi) and a handful said night dynamic range or distant plate capture can fall short in particular situations.
